Makes about 12 pancakes

Kaliméra, kalí órexi!
In Greece, breakfast smells of simplicity and sweetness. Tiganítes, small soft and golden pancakes, are a beloved classic on summer tables: convivial, indulgent, and irresistible.

In this Versilfood version, the magic happens with a warm Mixed Berry sauce: intense fruits, carefully selected, releasing all their aroma in a velvety and enveloping topping.

A meeting between Mediterranean tradition and the quality that we have been bringing to your tables for almost 40 years.

Ingredients

For the tiganítes (about 12):

  • 200 g all-purpose flour
  • 5 g baking powder
  • 10 g sugar
  • 250 ml milk
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • Vegetable oil for frying, as needed

For the Mixed Berry sauce:

  • 300 g Versilfood Mixed Berries
  • Juice of ½ lemon
  • 10 g sugar

Preparation

  1. Sift the flour into a bowl, then add the baking powder, sugar, and a pinch of salt.
Gradually pour in the milk, whisking until you obtain a smooth and fluid batter.
  2. Cover and let it rest for about 15 minutes.
  3. Heat the oil in a pan and pour small spoonfuls of batter into the hot oil. Fry for 1–2 minutes on each side until the pancakes are puffed and golden. Drain on paper towels.
  4. Meanwhile, cook the Versilfood Mixed Berries with sugar and lemon juice for about 5 minutes, until the fruit releases its juices and forms a fragrant, slightly thick sauce.
  5. Serve the tiganítes warm, generously topped with the berry sauce.
