Beef Burger with Mushrooms

Beef hamburger enriched by the taste of Versilfood mushrooms. A delicious and inviting dish perfect for sharing with friends.
Ingredients
- 2 beef hamburgers (approx. 150 g each)
- 150 g Versilfood Mixed Sautéed Mushrooms with Porcini (“trifolati”)
- 2 burger buns
- 2 slices of melting cheese (pasta filata)
- Salad or arugula to taste
- Mayonnaise or sauce of choice
- Salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
- Preparation of mushrooms: Heat a non-stick pan and pour in the Versilfood sautéed mushrooms while still frozen. Cook over medium heat for 6–8 minutes until hot and flavorful; keep warm.
- Cooking the hamburgers: Heat a grill or a lightly greased non-stick pan. Cook the beef burgers for 3–4 minutes per side (or according to desired doneness). At the end of cooking, season with salt and pepper.
- Preparation of buns: Cut the buns in half and toast them on the same grill for 1–2 minutes on the cut side.
- Assembling the sandwich: Spread the base of the bun with mayonnaise or other sauce, add some salad leaves or arugula, place the hot burger, and cover it with a slice of cheese, letting it melt slightly with the heat.
- Finishing and plating: Top with a generous spoonful of Versilfood sautéed mushrooms over the burger, close with the top part of the bun, and serve immediately, optionally accompanied by fries.
