Puff pastry basket with mixed mushrooms
A truly delicious appetizer: the ideal solution to make every dinner a feast for your taste buds.
- 1 roll of puff pastry
- 160 g mixed mushrooms with porcini
- 40 g carrots
- 80 g scamorza cheese
- Half clove of garlic
- Parsley to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- Poppy seeds to taste
- Sesame seeds to taste
- Extra-virgin olive oil
- Shape the puff pastry into about 6 cm diameter baskets and place them on a baking sheet sprinkling them with poppy seeds and sesame seeds. Bake them in the oven at 200°C for about 20 minutes.
- Sauté a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil, chopped garlic and carrots in a pan. Add the mixed mushrooms with porcini, parsley and salt and cook for 15 minutes.
- Fill the baskets with the mushrooms and chunks of scamorza, and return them into the oven until the cheese is melted.
- Serve hot.
