Puff pastry basket with mixed mushrooms

A truly delicious appetizer: the ideal solution to make every dinner a feast for your taste buds.

Ingredients

  • 1 roll of puff pastry
  • 160 g mixed mushrooms with porcini
  • 40 g carrots
  • 80 g scamorza cheese
  • Half clove of garlic
  • Parsley to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • Poppy seeds to taste
  • Sesame seeds to taste
  • Extra-virgin olive oil

Preparation

  1. Shape the puff pastry into about 6 cm diameter baskets and place them on a baking sheet sprinkling them with poppy seeds and sesame seeds. Bake them in the oven at 200°C for about 20 minutes.
  2. Sauté a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil, chopped garlic and carrots in a pan. Add the mixed mushrooms with porcini, parsley and salt and cook for 15 minutes.
  3. Fill the baskets with the mushrooms and chunks of scamorza, and return them into the oven until the cheese is melted.
  4. Serve hot.
